Role: Software Engineer
Bill Rate: $68/hour C2C
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 12+ months/ long-term
Interview Criteria: Telephonic + Teams
Direct Client Requirement    

Role Overview:
Design and build custom telemetry instrumentation across products to capture high-quality event data with the right fidelity, taxonomy, and compliance standards.
You will partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to define event schemas, implement telemetry SDKs/integrations aligned with 1DS / One Observability, and ensure reliable data flow from client systems to Helix.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and product instrumentation, requiring both technical depth and strong business understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement custom telemetry instrumentation
Define and maintain event schemas, taxonomy, and tracking standards
Build or integrate telemetry SDKs and pipelines
Ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance (privacy-aware instrumentation)
Collaborate with product and analytics teams to translate business requirements into telemetry design
Enable end-to-end data flow from client → telemetry systems → downstream analytics platforms
